Micawber Tavern has different areas that will delight your guests, all our function spaces provide enchanting backdrops of the beautiful Sherbrooke forest, our famous beer garden and the stunning Clematis creek.

Micawber Tavern offer a range of versatile and visually appealing spaces, our venue has six fabulous options to choose from that are all perfect for events and parties, celebrations and more.
The Deck
The picturesque Deck is surrounded by nature, with greenery in every direction. The Deck can be used all year round, with full surrounding blinds and heaters keeping the warmth in throughout Winter. It can seat up 40 guests for a plated meal, or up to 60 for a cocktail style party! The festoon lighting running across the ceiling creates an amazing atmosphere which will make any event extra special.

The Bistro
The Bistro can seat up to 85 guests for a meal and have up to 120 guests for a cocktail style event. Make your event extra special by having live music on our stage located in The Bistro. The space has large windows which overlook the greenery of the Dandenong Ranges. Also the fireplace located in the corner of this space creates a cosy space in the winter months.

The Bar
Our twist on a traditional Tavern, the bar is a cosy homely style space which is great for a night out. With full bar service, TVs showing live sport, and a unique decor The Bar is great for getting together with friends and family for any celebration.

Slowey's Bar
The perfect for getting everyone together! With bench seating around this outdoor area, there will always be an option to rest your legs if they get tired from dancing! Located next to our outdoor bar, so you won't need to walk to far to get your next drink. With a 55" TV, you are welcome to use it to play slideshows or simply put the footy on! This area is available to use all year round as it has full surrounding blinds and heaters.

The Beer Garden
Nothing beats Micawber Tavern's muched loved Beer Garden, reknowned for the location and charming appeal featuring beautiful forest greenery that includes spectatular tree ferns and the natural Clematis Creek. The size of beer garden appeals to large groups and has access to Slowey’s Bar and Patio during the spring and summer seasons. With plenty of picnic tables and benches, the garden pergola and the rustic swing the Beer Garden suits all ages and is perfect for summer celebrations.

Front Room
This cosy front room is adaptable to any event. Fitting 25 guests, this room can be set up for a seated meal, a meeting room or hang out spot. The 16 seater table can be transformed into table tennis. The electric fire creates a great atmosphere, and with 2 TV's you're able to put on sports, powerpoints or slideshows to suit any event.
